For such cases, they cancel and rebook at the new rates. This was very labour intensive and could not be done daily.
We automated this workflow, where a program checks dynamic rates for all future bookings and auto cancel and rebook if the dynamic rates were less than the static contracted rates. The company was able to increase profitability by almost 8.25% from this exercise.
